8:30 – 9:00 a.m. Registration
9:00 – 11:00 a.m. IPad 101 & IPad 202
101 will cover basic iPad setup from purchase to fi rst-time setup to get the iPad into a usable device. Basic applications and syncing will be covered. iPad 202 will go in to more details as how to get documents, movies, music, and other data types on to the iPad to allow the iPad to be used as a mobile office. How do you edit Office documents, edit photos, take handwritten notes, fill out forms, etc.
11:00 – 11:30 a.m. The Cloud (Cloud computing)
This short session will cover technology known as the “Cloud.” What is it? How do I get to it? Should I use it at work? Home? Is it secure? What legal items should I watch out for?
11:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. Lunch (on your own)
1:00 – 1:45 p.m. Social Media Policies
1:50 – 2:30 p.m. Integrating Technology in the Offi ce
2:30 – 4:30 p.m. Green & Clean Desktops / Mobile Technology This session will show basic to advanced technology so IT personnel can come test hardware and other city personnel from mayors to department level employees can come see what they can do with this technology to save money and improve efficiency.
